Entrance to Polynesian Cultural Center
The center has its roots in the hukilau and luau gatherings on the beach in the 1940s and 1950s to earn money to rebuild a local chapel belonging to the LDS Church, which had been destroyed in a fire. "The Hukilau Song," made famous by Alfred Apaka, was written following the composer and songs original singer, Jack Owens, The Cruising Crooners visit to Lāʻies hukilau. The PCC is considered to be one of the most widely visited tourist destinations in Hawaii. In recent years, its become Hawaiis number one paid attraction. Visitors are able to observe cultural activities by the peoples who inhabit the islands of the Central and South Pacific Ocean. The Polynesian Cultural Center is the venue for the annual World Fire Knife Dance Competition, in which contestants display their skill with blazing swords.

Circle Island Tour

On Maui you have the choice to meet the tour at Kahului Airport, or, for an additional charge, you can include hotel-airport-hotel transportation for an additional $36.00 per person. You may make that selection at checkout.

This tour departs Kahului Airport approximately 7:00 am returning approximately 7:45 pm . If you wish to be picked up at your hotel for an additional $36.00 per person, please indicate that at checkout. Flight schedules change frequently. Cancellation Policy

There is a NO CANCELLATION & NO REFUND on all ONE-DAY FLYAWAY tours. No name or date changes will be honored once booking is confirmed.

Restriction

In order to be in compliance with FAA regulations we require the full names of all persons on tour with air transportation. This name must be exactly as it appears on your valid, government issued photo identification. Air carriers will deny boarding if the passenger name, as shown does not match name on air ticket. If passenger is denied boarding due to non-compliance with this requirement there will be no refund.

This tour operates Monday/Wednesday/Friday only.

Lunch is included in price of tour.

This tour does not operate Christmas, New Year's Day or Thanksgiving
